Conus aureonimbosus is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Conidae, the cone snails and their allies.
These snails are predatory and venomous. They are capable of "stinging" humans, therefore live ones should be handled carefully or not at all.
The shell of a Conus Aureonimbosus can vary in size between 33 mm and 61 mm. It has a light cream colored shell, with tan striations running throughout it.
This marine species occurs in the North Atlantic Ocean off Florida at a depth of 150 m.
