The outcrop sabrewing or dry-forest sabrewing (Campylopterus calcirupicola ) is a species of hummingbird found only in Brazil. It is endemic to the Atlantic dry forests of the country's eastern portion, especially the states of Minas Gerais, Bahia, and Goiás.

It was long confused with the grey-breasted sabrewing (Campylopterus largipennis ), which lives in the understory of lowland tropical forests in the Amazon basin, unlike this species which is found in deciduous forest on limestone outcrops. Both species can also be differentiated by subtle plumage variations.

This species has undergone a significant population reduction in the past owing to habitat destruction and likely qualifies for Vulnerable under the IUCN Red List. However, it is still considered uncommon to locally fairly common over its distribution.
