Origin
Representatives of this breed have a very ancient history, so much so that their ancestors were even mentioned in the works of Aristotle. By the way, opinions about the origin of Havanese dogs are scattered, some people say that their ancestors were born in Malta, and others guess that in Tenerife. Be that as it may, the breed received its final development in Cuba. There, these dogs became very popular with aristocrats and nobles. Due to the revolution, the breed began to die out, but they began to restore it only in 1970, when there were only 11 dogs left in the world. These dogs are very good with children, as with other pets, but it is better to introduce them from an early age. Also, you should not leave them for a long time, because Havanese dogs will start to get very sad and whine.
