Poso horseshoe bat, Belligerent horseshoe bat
The Poso horseshoe bat or belligerent horseshoe bat (Rhinolophus belligerator ) is an endangered species of horseshoe bat found only on Sulawesi Island, which is part of Indonesia.
The single known specimen was discovered in Permana Cave, which is near Poso, Sulawesi.
It is currently evaluated as endangered by the IUCN.It meets the criteria for this designation because its extent of occurrence is estimated at 1,742 km2 (673 sq mi), it is found at only one location, and only one individual has ever been documented.
