Rhinopias is a genus of marine ray-finned fish belonging to the family Scorpaenidae, the scorpionfishes. The species in this genus are found in the Indian and Pacific oceans.

Rhinopias scorpionfishes have an Indo-Pacific distribution from the coast of eastern Africa to Hawaii and Easter Island. They are demersal fish, found in habitats with soft substrate and strong currents. They can occur in shallow waters down to around 300 m (980 ft).
