Dear Visitor,

As you may know, we, the founders and creators of this site, are Ukrainians. Our war, the Russo-Ukrainian War, has been ongoing for over two years now. This is a long time, and I feel awkward even bringing it up, as if talking about it now feels somehow embarrassing.

The shock of the first days has passed, along with the desperate enthusiasm. Ukrainians have turned out to be ordinary people: some are ready to fight, some to flee, and some are frozen, waiting to see what happens next. It is impossible to live life on overdrive all the time.

But no matter how long injustice and the killing of innocents last, as long as it continues, we cannot accept it and lay down our arms, neither we Ukrainians nor the people who help us.

I want to thank everyone who has helped us or simply supported us in any way these two years. We have always felt it. I will not repeat what will happen if Ukraine falls and where appeasement leads because we are all tired of proving that black is black and white is white. But during this time, I have noticed that with us have always been people of certain values: personal freedom, respect for others, and the right to participate in determining the future of their community and their country. We all have a common enemy. Our enemy has completed the formation of a misanthropic fascist regime under the cover and sponsorship of China (this has now become completely clear) and is forming an axis of evil with the same type of cannibals. Russians enjoy war and it gives no grounds to hope that we will see the end of the war in the coming years.

The injustice and tragedy we face is not unique. Terrible things are happening all over the world; the difference is that we are now (as has happened in our history of bloodlands) standing on the front line of the big struggle of democracies vs dictatorships. Perhaps we are doomed as a nation, but should we win, many people (such as Uyghurs, Taiwanese, or other oppressed peoples) will have hope, and another world war will be delayed for at least a generation.

I will end where I started. No matter how long genocide and injustice last, we cannot give up and surrender to the mercy of our perpetrators. Now we simply ask you not to forget about us, not to lose sight of our tragedy, and if possible, to help Ukraine where you can.
