Mexican rail
The Aztec rail or Mexican rail, (Rallus tenuirostris ) is a species of bird in the family Rallidae. It is endemic to highland freshwater marshes in Mexico. The species was formerly considered a subspecies of the King rail, but further analyses have discovered it was more closely related to Ridgway's rail (Rallus obsoletus ).
