Craugastor taurus is a species of frog in the family Craugastoridae. It is found in the Golfo Dulce region of southern Costa Rica and adjacent western Panama. It is sometimes known as the Golfito robber frog.

Female Craugastor taurus can grow as large as 80 mm (3.1 in) in snout–vent length, whereas males are smaller, up to 42 mm (1.7 in) SVL. Dorsum is bumpy and grey or brown in colour, with darker blotches. Arms and legs have dark bars. Feet have extensive webbing. Males have vocal sac and proportionally larger tympanum.
